Bottle Biome Observation

• Water level: 10.2 cm
• Algae growth: good amount of grass on top level
• Plant growth on top (measure each week to determine how much 13 cm
• Water color changes: water is a little darker but some particles in water
• Any indications of the water cycle taking place: Condensation and transpiration
• Any changes in the fish (if present): None

Water level – 10.6 cm

Algae growth-None

Plant growth – None

Water color changes – None

Water cycle evidence – There is beginning to be a bit of condensation near the top of the both bottles.

Change in fish – Not very active

Today we configured our bottle biome by connecting two soda bottle in regular and inverted fashion. After we combined these two bottles as one we added a string through the inverted cap to allow for capillary action to take place. Once this was done we added water and gravel to the bottom bottle then proceeded to fill the top bottle with soil and seeds so that we can have plant life. After all of this was done we added a cap to finish it off for now.
